Kefir superfood smoothie
I LOVE KEFIR SMOOTHIES! And this one is great tasting for adults and kids and has its sweetness from fruit only. NO ADDED SUGAR needed. You can add a bit of raw honey if you prefer yours sweeter- but this is the way I drink it and its sweetness is perfect for me!
The superfoods in this smoothie are Kefir, Acai, Greens and Blueberries
Superfood kefir smoothie
A yummy kefir smoothie packed with probiotics, antioxidants and superfoods.
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 Cup Homemade Kefir
- 1/2 cup frozen Wild blueberries
- 1 t. Acai berry powder
- 1 t. barley max or another super green powder.
- Add all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. I use a vitamix. Serve right away.

Quick and easy to make. Just put the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. It’s done in less than 5 minutes. This is a perfect after school treat or breakfast or even a powerful pre or post workout drink. Be sure to use frozen banana as it gives it a creamy ice cream like consistency.
